Sponsored by the South Korean government, the program supports you from the moment you apply, guiding you through the interview process, securing your visa, and providing comprehensive training and orientation before you step into the classroom. One of the best parts? You won’t be on your own! Every school assigns a Korean co-teacher who will be there to support you in and outside the classroom. You’ll collaborate on lesson planning, conducting classroom activities, grading assignments, and managing the class. Whether you’re mastering teaching techniques or just finding the best local spot for kimchi, your co-teacher will be your go-to guide.
This program is perfect for those eager to dive into a new culture, gain valuable teaching experience, and make a lasting impact.
- Conduct English conversation classes for students and teachers
- Class durations are 40 - 50 minutes
- There are 22 classes per week
- Class sizes vary from 10 to 40 students, depending on the school’s location
- Assist Korean teachers with English classes, joint lessons, extracurricular activities, or English camps
- Prepare and develop teaching materials for English education
- Support English-related activities and other extracurricular programs
- Demonstrate strong English skills, both written and spoken
- Standard School hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
Internship Overview
Benefits:
- KRW2.05 - 2.8 Million monthly (depending on experience)
- KRW1,800,000 Entrance Allowance to cover flight cost into Korea
- KRW1,300,000 Exit Allowance upon completion of the contract
- KRW300,000 Settlement Allowance (one-time payment)
- FREE fully furnished housing or, where housing is not available, a rent subsidy of KRW400,000
- 26 days of paid vacation + National holidays

- Compulsory medical insurance - 50% of premiums paid by the employer
