Paid TEFL internship in Spanish schools
Did you graduate with a Bachelor’s degree sometime in the last four years and hold a TEFL certificate? Teach English in Spain this academic year and boost your CV by becoming a Language Assistant in a Spanish school.
As a Language Assistant, you will be required to assist the main classroom teacher in conducting English classes and improving the English listening, reading, writing, and speaking abilities of students within established conversation groups. You will be expected to provide up to 24 hours of in-class teaching.
Besides living in Spain, making memories, and gaining teaching experience, you will also receive a monthly stipend! The stipend is dependent on the number of students in your English conversation group, the number of teaching hours as well the accommodation option you choose.
You can live like a local with a host family (host family salary ranges from €409 – €724.), or you can live independently in your own apartment (independent accommodation salary ranges from €906 – €1,194)
- Deliver conversational English lessons during the requested weekly hours.
- Encourage oral practice in English.
- Explain the culture of your own country.
- Help in other subjects apart from English such as science, art, sport.
- Act as a role model for correct pronunciation and grammar.
- Collaborate with teaching staff in creating teaching materials and planning lessons.
