There are many TEFL course providers operating internationally. With so much choice, and with such a vast amount of conflicting information available on the internet, it can be hard for prospective TEFL course students to make the correct choice. Our TEFL course can be studied at two different levels, you can choose either Level 3 or Level 5, depending on your situation and plans for teaching. Both the Level 3 and Level 5 versions of our TEFL course aim to provide students with accurate information, skills and training to ensure they leave the academy with a sound understanding of teaching English, as well as a clearer picture of the TEFL industry as a whole.
The TEFL Academy specialises in TEFL courses and nothing else. TEFL is not only in our name, but it is also the backbone of our academy. All of our trainers are experienced EFL professionals. They have all qualified as TEFL teachers themselves, gained years of actual teaching experience and are now passing on their working knowledge to our TEFL course students.
The TEFL Academy is fully accredited by Qualifi, an Ofqual (The Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation, a UK government department) regulated awarding body. Qualifi have robust quality assurance systems and procedures in place which all course providers must successfully pass in order to be accredited under the scheme. The Level 5 version of our TEFL Course is DEAC-approved as meeting the criteria for Approved Quality Curriculum (AQC) status. The DEAC is a U.S. Department of Education National Accreditor. After successful completion of our TEFL course, you’ll be presented with an internationally recognised Level 3 TEFL Certificate (120 hours) or Level 5 TEFL Diploma (168 hours).
