Accreditation Partners
The TEFL Academy was the world’s first TEFL course provider to receive official recognition from government regulated awarding bodies in both the USA and UK. This means when you graduate you’ll hold a globally recognised Level 3 (120hr) Certificate or Level 5 (168hr) Diploma, meaning you can find work anywhere and apply for jobs immediately.
Hello,
I have completed the TEFL 120 hours online course and also just completed the 3 assignments and waiting for my certification.
I would like to start teaching online with students around the world. I am currently a teacher
at a language school in Rome, Italy and been teaching there for a year,. I teach Italian students on skype and they’re very happy with my teaching method. The school is also getting great feedback from the students.
Since I have teaching experience, which websites are better to apply for online teaching jobs?
Hi there,
I am completing a Level 5, Offqual, 168-hour TEFL ACADEMY course ( I’ve completed and passed all Units and am now starting the three assignments)
Ideally I would like to teach online, concentrating on more mature students – high school or other, even business English considering my lifetime experience in the business field where a large chunk of time was training and managing architectural Technicians and young architects.
Could you point me in the right direction to some of the best sites for finding online teaching jobs. Times are tough and competition is fierce I imagine and I’m flying blind.
Lastly, is it advisable to wait until I have my certificate seeing that having scored an above average 80% plus on all assignments all I have to do is complete the assignments, or should I wait?
Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
James
