Victoria Education is offering you the opportunity to do just that! We have placements
available in schools across Vietnam including Hanoi and other cities starting in September
2019. We are well known for providing a high level of language teaching to children across
Vietnam. We believe in ensuring the next generation have the skills they need to succeed
and thrive.
Teaching locations: Hanoi and other cities and towns (for example Hai Duong, Da Nang,
Hung Yen, Bac Ninh)
Start date: 2019
No. of hours per week: 20 teaching hours and 15 prep hours per week
Length of contract: 2 terms (2019• May 2020) and longer if interested
1. Pay, holiday and additional benefits
• Pay: $10,800• $12,600 (US dollars) per school year
Salary is received each month for $600-$700 net amount. Bonus: You are entitled to a
guaranteed bonus which will be payable at the end of each term (January and May
2020). The January 2020 bonus is equivalent to 1 month’s salary and the May 2020
bonus is equivalent to 8 months’ salary (if you are working for 9 months in total).

Please note that the applicants cover the visa and work permit fees. These costs will be
deducted from the May bonus. The successful applicants will need to pay for flights to
Vietnam • Victoria Education will provide an airport pickup service.
Please note, for visa and practical reasons we can only accept candidates from the UK,
USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa.
2. Qualifications & Experience
2.1 Essential
• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• TEFL Level 5 qualification required (online qualification is accepted)
2.2 Desirable
• Knowledge and experience in teaching as a second language
• Knowledge and experience in teaching
• Experience of living and working abroad
• Experience of teaching in a multicultural and/or international school setting
