We know the feeling. But what if we told you there is a way to travel the world for free – even if you don’t have money?
And teaching English as a foreign language is how you can do it.
What is TEFL?
Teaching English as a foreign language is often referred to as TEFL. TEFL teachers teach English to non-native English speakers who want and need to learn the language.
Why do EFL learners want or need to learn English?
- To emigrate to an English-speaking country
- To study in an English-speaking country
- To be able to communicate while travelling
- To pass an English proficiency exam
- For work purposes
TEFL teachers work in private language schools and academies, public and private schools, universities, in-company, privately and online.
TEFL teachers can live where they want and work when they want. TEFL teachers can choose the work-life balance that suits them. That may be teaching online and living in Mexico. Or teaching kindergarten in Thailand. Or teaching private students online from home on weekends.
TEFL can be whatever you want it to be.
