Key Responsibilities:

1. Language Support:

• English Tutoring: Au pairs help the children in the host family with learning and practicing English. This can include formal lessons, casual conversation practice, and engaging in English-language activities such as reading, games, and outings.


• Language Immersion: While primarily assisting with English, au pairs also have the chance to immerse themselves in Chinese by communicating with their host family and the local community. This experience helps improve their Mandarin skills.

2. Childcare:

• Supervising and Engaging with Children: Au pairs assist with daily childcare activities, including school drop-offs and pick-ups, helping with homework, organizing recreational activities, and providing companionship to the children.


• Outdoor Activities and Sports: Many host families appreciate an au pair who can engage in sports, arts, and outdoor activities with their children, such as land surfing, dancing, and playing games.

3. Cultural Exchange:

• Sharing Your Culture: Au pairs also have the opportunity to share their own culture with the host family, from cooking traditional meals to teaching them about customs, holidays, and language from their home country.
