DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our team as a TEFL Trainer. As a TEFL Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering face-to-face TEFL training to students, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to teach English as a Foreign Language.
Courses are run on a Saturday in a central, easily accessible location, in a conference venue or hotel function room.
This is a part-time, self-employed position working one weekend, approximately 4-6 times per year (10 paid hours over one day). You must reside in Galway and have full rights to live and work in Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering 10 hours of face-to-face TEFL training for students
- Following our course module timetable and teacher’s training guide
- Building the confidence of students to comfortably stand up in front of a class
- Assessing students’ ability to teach within a classroom environment
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
This role will be approximately 10 hours per month, although extra hours may be available.

BenefitsStipend is calculated as follows for each 1-day classroom course completed:
- €200 stipend + €25 for materials for each 1-day classroom course containing up to 20 students
- When the class size reaches over 20 students, Add €10 per extra student, and €3 per extra student for materials
- Maximum of 30 students: €250 stipend + €45 for materials
Additional benefits:
- In some cases tutors may be given the opportunity to travel outside of their local area to cover another course. In these circumstances extra expenses will be paid to cover hotel, travel and food -
Requirements
- At least 3 years teaching experience (ESL/EFL/TEFL/TESOL)
- Level 5 TEFL Certificate
- Fluent in English
- Bachelors Degree
- Must live locally to Galway
