DescriptionESL teacher for a primarily Haitian immigrant community in the Boston area. Looking for an open, interested and creative attitude towards teaching people from another country.
The course is online but instructors need to be within two hours of Eastern Standard time. A curriculum will be provided but a TEFL certificate or equivalent is required.
Beginning with a two week on-boarding, you will teach a twelve week session of A2 English. Teachers will commit to five hours a week, two hours of direct instruction, three hours of prepping, providing feedback, connection, and other student support.
Session will begin the week of June 13 with a thirteen week contract and potential for add-on contracts.
Knowledge of Haitian Creole and/or French is an asset!
