Face-to- face TEFL courses offer more in-depth training with a focus on teaching practice, a key element when preparing to be an English as a foreign language teacher.
The TEFL Academy’s combined TEFL course is particularly suitable if you feel you would benefit from face-to-face tuition, including the chance to practise all you have learnt in the classroom. You will get the opportunity to learn through group work and gain peer-to-peer teaching experience.
This 10-hour classroom course will build your confidence to a level where you will feel comfortable standing up in front of your first class. You’ll also study the rest of the course online.
You have up to 6 months to complete the online course, but the average student completes the course within 4-6 weeks. So, you’ll have plenty of time to get TEFL qualified!

The TEFL Academy’s Level 5 TEFL Course is DEAC-approved as meeting the criteria for Approved Quality Curriculum (AQC) status. The DEAC is a U.S. Department of Education recognised awarding body. Our course is regulated by Ofqual (UK government department) and awarded by Qualifi, a UK government recognised awarding body. After successful completion of our TEFL course, you’ll be presented with an internationally recognised Level 5 TEFL Certificate (168 hours), so it’s the only qualification you need!
