DescriptionI am recruiting on behalf of a Shanghai based education group. They are looking for teachers for their schools based largely around the east coast region of China and in particular around Shanghai. Classes are for Chinese children aged between 3 and 12. There are Chinese teaching assistants in the classroom and the curriculum uses material from Oxford University Press.
As a large education group teachers get full support with moving to China and adapting to teaching in the company’s schools. Initial training is provided making the job ideal for inexperienced teachers and each school has a senior teacher who can help with any problems. Pay depends on qualifications, experience and the school’s location. However, it is competitive and teachers should be able to save money. The initial contract is for one year.
Teachers will be required to teach up to 22 classes of 45 minutes a week with eight to ten students per class.
Due to Chinese visa requirements the applicant must have a university degree and be from the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland or South Africa. -
